Finding a good website content writer is imperative for ranking well on search engines.
The title of SEO content writer is a specialty within internet marketing. “Content” is what we in the industry call the text and images on a website. Mostly it refers to the written word.
Many of the skills that good writers possess are shared among the various disciplines, such as a good vocabulary, correct sentence structure, and the use of correct punctuation. From there, the level of creativity and the intent start to better define the writer and the writing.
The primary intent of SEO content writing is the promotion of websites to the search engines. This is done through the use of a carefully chosen mix of phrases and positioning and repetition, both on the page and on other pages of the site.
The secondary intent, or perhaps an alternate primary intent, is to engage the user and get the user to take an action. The action may be to read more pages in the site, to share it in social media, to make a phone call, or to fill out a contact form.
This intent for the user to take an action is called Conversion Rate Optimization, or CRO. CRO is the art of turning leads into customers. Whether that is website visitors, ad responders, or social media users, converting visitors into customers is the next step after you get someone’s attention online.
CRO deals with more than writing – it deals with such things as arrangement of modules on a page; like headlines, intro paragraphs, bullet lists, testimonials, calls to action, and forms to name a few.
Effective for Ranking or Conversion Rate Optimization
Knowing the website and marketing plan, based on goals, is a vital step prior to writing a page. Together we determine the focus based on clients you want to attract, keywords that describe your service, geography, price points, and more.
The results are used to determine site pages and blog articles. Each article has a specific purpose and I tie it all together in a way that sends proper signals to the search engines. Google still relies primarily on what a site says within its text areas to determine ranking.
Other major parts of my job as a content writer is interlinking phrases between pages, which is a strong ranking signal for Google.
If you want an effective website, hire an effective writer.
My services can be utilized as a one-time project, such as your website design / development, or as ongoing site expansion, blogging or article writing.
During the website development process, each page should be written or reviewed by an experienced web content writer to ensure that proper keyword usage and saturation is achieved.
SEO Websites: Talking to Google
Content should be written to not only be compelling to the visitor, but also should be search engine friendly for Google or Microsoft Searches.
Your web content isn’t search friendly? Retain Camrud Advertising to give the visitor an engaging and persuasive experience to make an informative decision to use your services, or buy your products; and at the same time make your website optimal for higher ranking in Google or Microsoft!

After achieving higher ranking, to be more effective in digital advertising your site needs Conversion Optimization.
This simply means you are optimizing the message on your website pages to appeal to users for the search they performed. This results in longer time spent on the page, and perhaps more page views by the visitor.
Google analyzes “user engagement” as one of their ranking signals. The more people engage with your site, the better. It shows Google you have a site worth the viewer’s time to explore.
Computers are getting smarter and our workforce is getting dumber because of it.
This means computers – or more accurately Artificial Intelligence (AI) – like what is powering Google’s search algo, are able to dissect your website faster than a human can think up phrases to search to find you!
That doesn’t bother me too much though.
Why? Because I’m the guy who tells Google how to find your site. It is actually the purpose of my SEO web services.
In a world where computers are taking jobs away from humans, optimizing web sites still requires a human element. I bridge the gap between how humans communicate and how language is used to communicate the meaning of searches to Google and Microsoft search engines.
Humans will always be doing the searching, so us “interpreters” are the intermediary for the foreseeable future.
Affordable Web Content Writer for Small Business
You will find some pricing online that initially sounds too good to be true… it is.
Be careful when hiring a low cost copywriter – many of those writers are not experienced with how to write for search engines and English may be their second language.
The result? The visitor may have a harder read, and the search engines won’t give your page the clout needed for ranking. If English is the writer’s second language, your visitors may even have a good laugh about your content.
I run a small business, just like you! I know you need efficiency in pricing, but also need effective results for your web site expenditures. I deliver effective web content writing.
Copy writing is offered on an hourly basis, either for your existing web site, or as part of my SEO website design services.

How Do Web Content Writers Work?
- First I ask you to rough out some of the main concepts about your services that you want to emphasize.
- After the main keywords have been identified I research actual volume of public searches for keyword phrases for which your site should be targeted.
- I’ll integrate the proper keyword relevance into the text of the article or page, in the proper format, with the right keyword density for maximum results.
Your pages are never oversaturated with keyword phrases. I efficiently work key words and phrases into your pages and blogs without making them obvious to the reader.
In some cases I can work with an existing news article, or competitor’s text as a starting point. However, to avoid copyright infringement, a good content writer will only use it as a guideline, and will create a unique article for your website.
I can also work with your company’s printed materials to ensure a cohesive ‘voice’ across your entire branding presentation.
For those of you that already have a site, with finished text, my copywriting services can be utilized to review the pages for effectiveness, working the key phrases into the existing pages.

Hi Jon,
Here’s what a colleague had to say about my new website [by Camrud Advertising].
“I just checked your website and it is fantabulous! The content is especially well written; informative and concise. The design also is great; modern and clean.”Jon, I personally enjoyed working with you and appreciate the patience you showed me as you made me feel comfortable engaging in an area I was completely unfamiliar. You achieved the results I wanted…
Warm regards,

“I retained Jon Camrud to help me with my legal website. This man is very straightforward and is definitely an expert in SEO. He does his research, so you – the client – understand your competition and what you need to do to gain visibility and customers via the web. He doesn’t make ludicrous promises. Rather, Mr. Camrud is a professional who generally exceeds expectations. He also educates his customers on what they can do to enhance a business’ web profile. I would definitely recommend him to small businesses who are seeking to beef up their client base via Internet marketing.”
~ Josh Long, Attorney at Law, Longmont, Colorado
“I typed in one of the top search terms for dog bite law, into Google, and my main site came up 4th… and this is the cool part, my Facebook page was in position 8! Pretty great that Jon was able to not only get my main site to the first page using search marketing, in a highly competitive market, but also to get Google to rank my Facebook page ahead of most of my competitors!”

How to Blog – What to Write About
Coming up with new and original content for website blogging, Facebook entries and Tweeting can be difficult week in and week out. I try to stick to a general plan on my own bog and social media:
Blogs are the opportunity to explore things about your business that the public doesn’t know to ask. You can get into details that you normally wouldn’t have time to discuss with a client in a business meeting. In other words, put some detail in.
Blog entries are generally based on what I want people to know about my business, and about the latest news about my business (focused more on my business than my industry – with that slant, anyway).
If the source of the idea is not originally mine, such as those inspired by recent news stories, it’s almost like a business version of a book report we were all asked to do in school. Don’t repeat the exact ideas, but summarize the ideas and concepts and write about your take on the subject and how it relates to what you provide customers. Interpret the news and tell your customers and clients why they should care.
Blogs are all about original content to help you rank well with search engines.
Good web content writers are invaluable for website ranking. As many of you probably already know, or were able to guess, Google can spot duplicate content across the entire scope of the internet. It logs these duplicates and tries to determine the original source, giving it the highest rank for that content. All the rest are just noted as duplicates. I don’t believe it matters whether you were the second, third or 100th person to copy it.
This is another good reason for you to blog about your business, not your industry. Your small business is much more unique than your industry, and your take on your industry may be unique in the industry as well.
You know what they tell writers “write about what you know”!
Social Media Blogging
Whether you use social media once a week, or several times a day, try and have a purpose to your posts. If you have nothing to say, don’t force it. That said, if you have nothing to say about your business for a couple of weeks or a month, you may not be trying hard enough to educate potential clients about the benefits of using your services.
Facebook entries must be engaging.
These are published for people who are interested enough in you and your business to follow you. They are also the people who will help share your business news, so don’t bore them. (again, YOUR business news, not news in general, even if it is about your industry). Link to a page in your site that relates to the entry for a good SEO benefit.
Twitter entries are headlines.
Attention grabbers should be the content of your tweets. Things that might make people re-tweet them, or follow the link to your site. You should not generally attempt to get as much emotional reaction as possible from the tweet.
