Mobile advertising, on smartphones or tablets, is a great way to attract customers who are in the general vicinity of your business. Great solution for capturing the attention of a younger audience, or people on the go.
Google Mobile Ads
Google mobile ads reach the most possible viewers, so you have more options. I am a certified Google Ads Partner, so you are in good hands when you hire me to handle your mobile advertising campaign.
I have been using the Google Ads platform since 2004. The advent of the smartphone allowed for advanced mobile advertising, and when Apps came along the game changed drastically.
I can target users who are surfing websites, or people who are using an App with the Google Ads mobile ad platform for your business ads.

You Choose the Radius from Your Location
We all have different definitions of local advertising. When you advertise with me, you have the ability to choose the radius around your location – as close as 1 mile, or across your state.
The radius you choose depends on how far away you feel your customers are located. Or if you provide services at your location, how far they may be willing to drive for your services.
Or you can choose entire cities, or congressional districts, or entire states and countries.
Location, Location, Location
The primary strength of mobile advertising is to capture people doing a search on a mobile device near your location.
This is great for brick-and-mortar stores or restaurants. Customers are far more likely to shop at your location after responding if they are “in the neighborhood” at the time of the search.
Google reported that 82% of smartphone users were searching for businesses near them. You can be there for them.
Mobile is Great for Attracting Tourists
In Colorado it is important for many businesses to be in front of people on their smartphones searching for things to do, restaurants, tickets, directions, and more.
And we can reach tourists from the time they hit the road until they arrive at your door.
Let’s say you know from past experience that your customers come from Texas. We can place a radius targeting from a point half way between your location and any area of Texas! Or, target the specific cities and towns in Texas you know like to vacation in Colorado.
Or, let’s say you know most of your customers come from locations less than a days drive away. We can set your radius to a 300 mile radius, an easy day’s drive, from your location.

What Does it Cost?
Your investment in advertising will vary based on the type of ad.
Search ads are bid by the phrase. You only pay when someone clicks on your ad. Call me and I can make an educated guess based on your industry.
The other choice is advertising on the display ad network. Think of that like a magazine ad, where I select what websites or YouTube channels or Apps you want to advertise on, and we set a daily budget and an amount you are willing to pay per 1,000 impressions. This can often be as little as $2 a day.
Either way, you have complete control over your daily spending. It’s perfect for starting slow and growing your advertising campaign as you start to see success.
Mobile Advertising To Capture People Without Computers
Not everyone has a computer.
With the larger sized smartphones available now, many people choose to go mobile-only when away from the office. I can get your business in front of those people when they are near your business.
Some of my clients exclusively advertise on mobile devices, while others advertise to computers, tablets and smartphones.
Your choices for mobile-only ads include either smartphones or tablets, or both. Your budget can be split between the two in any proportion of your spend.
Smartphones or tablets can be utilized for App advertising – which is advertising within an App that a person has installed on their device.
I can create an ad campaign where the user can call your business directly from the ad, without even visiting your website.
Google Mobile Ads or Microsoft Mobile Ads?
The widest ranging platform for creating mobile ads is the Google Ads mobile network. It allows me to create and monitor your advertising for both mobile and desktop advertising in one platform.
Google’s network is extensive, and it remains the top search engine by a wide margin over Microsoft.
If you have the budget, I would suggest putting some towards Microsoft mobile advertising too. However, if your budget is limited, it is best to stick with Google platform for mobile.
Then as you grow your business, you can expand to Microsoft Ads.
What Types of Mobile Ads are Available?
When people search on their devices, your mobile ad may appear next to search results on Google as a text ad.
Ads are shown across a network of over a million websites and apps, so your mobile ad shows where your customers are… even Gmail!
Did you know that more than half of YouTube views are on mobile devices (according to Google, who owns YouTube). You can do video or ads on other videos.
Mobile App Ads
Universal App Campaigns allow us to promote your app by running mobile ads across the Google network.
“I have engaged several different companies to help me with digital advertising. Mr. Camrud is by far the easiest to deal with – he truly makes me feel that I am his only client.
He manages my Google and Microsoft ad accounts MUCH better than the representatives at other companies do – he seems to know way more about algorithms, keywords, negative keywords, campaign optimization and getting more traffic for your budget than [even] the “experts” at Google or Microsoft. Since I have been using Mr. Camrud, he has saved me quite a bit of money, while having increased my business exponentially. I cannot say enough about Mr. Camrud – and am very happy that I found him!”
