As part of my search engine marketing offering, I utilize Google Plus in your back-linking plan. If you are not familiar with Google Plus, aka Google+, it is similar to Twitter and Facebook for social media marketing.
To utilize Google Plus for internet marketing, you will use your personal account in combination with a Google Plus business page, that is tied to your personal account. Colorado internet marketing company Camrud Advertising provides Google Plus Management for your business page(s).
In order for us to do this, we need you to either provide us with your access credentials, or for you to set us up in your account as your Google Plus Manager.
Here is how to make me your Google Plus Manager
First you need to login to your Google account. There are many ways to login to your Google account, use your normal method, and navigate to your Google Plus account. If you do not know how to do this, let’s just start by typing Google into the search box in your browser.
Select Google.com from the results.
In the upper left corner it should say “You”. Click that word. It will take you to a sign in sheet (your URL should read https://accounts.google.com)
Sign in. From the screen right after you login to your Google Plus account, your image should be in the upper right corner, very small, with an arrow next to it.
Click the arrow, you should see your google+ page options of “Account”, “Privacy” and “View Profile”. Below that section, you should see all the pages you’ve created. Hopefully one is for your business. If not, you either need to create one, or have us create one for you.
Find the page you want to have us manage, and click on the image. You should be taken to your Page.
Go back to the upper right corner and click on the arrow again – you should see a “managers” link in blue right above the “view page” button. Click managers.
[if you don’t see managers, you are probably not on a “Page”, but rather your personal account page. Remember, I’m assuming that you have created a page for your business already]
If you do see “managers”, when you click you are taken to a page that allows you to “Add managers by email”. Simply put in the email address that I gave you (not my main email that you use to correspond with me, but the one I give you for this purpose).
They will send me an email invite to manage your page… and you should get an email after I click on a link in mine. Google may change this, so I’ll try to keep it updates.
That’s it! You can log out of your account, and Colorado internet marketing consultant Jon Camrud will be able to post links to your site from your page, which will help with your Google ranking. Please call Jon with any questions about this or any online marketing areas, or to get started.
