Google offers two primary types of ads – Search Ads and Display Ads.
Google display advertising is a type of internet advertising that involves ads that I create for you that are shown on the “display network” of websites across the internet.
They work much like traditional ads where an advertiser chooses a placement in print media.
Instead of newspapers, magazines, or other print media, your ads are shown across the entire internet on websites that Google has partnered with to display your ads.
What Does Advertising on the Google Adwords Network Look Like?
Google display ads are shown as either graphic “banners” at the top of pages, or as graphic boxes within a page – either on the side of main website messaging, or within it. Your ad can also be shown, at the bottom of pages.
However, they don’t have to be graphic (pictures, or illustrations, or video); ads can also be text with headlines, sentences with your offering, and links to your website.

You get to choose which sites. From large sites like CNN to small blogs.
You can also choose from specific lists of sites that are registered to show ads for Google. I will suggest the most appropriate sites.
Or, another method of Google Display adveritising is to specify a type of website, such as “wedding sites”.
Yet another method is choosing sites that mention keywords, such beach or ocean in the case of a “vacation” site, if you want to promote your beach blanket company, for example.
Paying for Your Google Advertising
Whichever websites you choose to advertise on Google AdWords, if you choose to “pay per click”, your ads are shown for free, and are only charged when somebody clicks an ad. You get to set the amount of each click, and the maximum amount you spend each day.
The best part is that even if you don’t have a lot of clicks, it is good for brand awareness.
However, if your primary goal is brand awareness, we can also specify to Google that you want to pay for “impressions” of your ad instead of clicks.
Think of this like paying for the number of times your ad is seen. Google charges per-thousand-impressions of your ad.
I can help you advertise on Google ads for any business in any industry, in Denver or across the country.
