At the beginning of the optimization trend we didn’t have as many tools as we do now. It is my firm belief that newbies to the SEO consulting business tend to rely on tools more than fundamentals.
When I began doing this, the automation we see now was not available; we used solid SEO principles that were applied to website architecture, content, and linking to entice search engines towards ranking a site better.
Today, Denver SEO consultants tend to ‘find a tool’, or go first to social media, then to back-linking and, if the budget allows, work their way back to the website elements.
I take the opposite approach. The most important aspect in ranking is the actual website. And the experience the user has on the site.
